Research

My research interests are in the areas of complexity science and agent-based modelling for the energy market, including simulation of markets and consumer behaviour, modelling technology policy and innovation diffusion (e.g. smart metering, micro-generation, photovoltaic), and energy supply chain optimization. I am particularly interested in consumer agents’ decision algorithm design, modelling human behaviour (e.g. consumer) based on psycho-behavioural theories and social network theories, artificial social network design, and agent-based spatial modelling for energy demand-side management.
