Research

My Research will focus in particular on the intelligent data analysis of multi-modal colon cancer data. As part of the PhD will examine this large, complex dataset to assess the appropriate columns to utilise, perhaps performing automated or semi-automated variable reduction. The data will then be analysed to examine the relationships between key variables, and their associations with known disease factors. Given that the data is multi-modal, consisting of many variables fo differrent type, ranges, etc. and featuring missing values and uncertainties in information, that appropriate treatment will require novel computational algorithms to be developed.

Teaching & Supervision

My PhD supervisors are Jon Garibaldi and Uwe Aickelin.
